Responsible Gambling
Last updated: 27 May 2026
Spinora New Zealand Limited supports safe, informed play. If play stops being fun or affects your wellbeing, take action early using the tools and resources below.
Play smart: practical guidance
- Set limits: decide a time budget and a spending budget (if you purchase virtual items) before you start.
- Take breaks: schedule regular breaks; avoid playing when tired, stressed, or under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
- Reality checks: track session time, spending, and how often you play; treat play as entertainment, not income.
- Protect minors: play is for adults (20+ in New Zealand). Use device controls and keep login details private.
Timeouts and self-exclusion
How to take a break:
- Use any in-product Responsible Play or Account settings to request a timeout (cooling-off) or self-exclusion.
- If you can’t access settings, email contact@spinoranewzealand.com from your account email with: (a) request type (timeout/self-exclusion), (b) duration, and (c) your username.
- During a timeout/self-exclusion, we will restrict access as requested and may suspend marketing messages where feasible.
Note: self-exclusion is intended to be a firm commitment. If you think you may be at risk, choose a longer period and consider third‑party support.
Warning signs
- Spending more time or money than planned, chasing losses, or hiding play.
- Borrowing money, selling things, or missing work/school/family commitments.
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not playing.
